Descripción:
5-Methoxy-1-methylindole is a cytotoxic agent that has been synthesized from titanium, dichloride, and lithiated. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in cytotoxicity studies. 5-Methoxy-1-methylindole is an intermediate in the synthesis of anti-cancer drugs. 5-Methoxy-1-methylindole can also be used to produce fulvene and carbolithiation, which are intermediates in the synthesis of cyclopentadienide.
