N-Oleoylglycine is a glycine conjugate of oleic acid. It has been shown to inhibit the transcriptional activity of protein genes in humans and other mammals, which may lead to metabolic disorders. N-Oleoylglycine is also able to induce antibody response in mice by activating the immune system. This drug has been shown to be effective against squamous carcinoma cells in a model system and has been used for diagnostic purposes.
