Descripción:
1-Chloro-2,2-bis(4'-chlorophenyl)ethane is an antiparasitic and antibiotic drug. It has been used in the treatment of malaria and tuberculosis. The mechanism of action is by inhibiting protein synthesis. 1-Chloro-2,2-bis(4'-chlorophenyl)ethane has also been used as a chemotherapy agent for cancer, in which it inhibits DNA synthesis. This compound is not active against viruses or fungi and has a low toxicity to humans. This product is very pure and can be used for research purposes.
