Descripción:
N,4'-Dimethylformanilide is a catalytic imidazolium cyclic organocatalyst. It has been used to produce a variety of organic molecules with high yields and selectivity. The catalytic activity of N,4'-dimethylformanilide is based on the electron-donating ability of the methyl group. This compound is also an excellent catalyst for the synthesis of methylamines from aldehydes and ammonia.
