Información del producto
1-Iodo-4-phenoxy-benzene is an organic compound that belongs to the class of monomers. 1-Iodo-4-phenoxy-benzene has been used as a model study for diphenyl ethers, and its reactivity has been shown to be nucleophilic and transfer reactions. The monomeric structure of 1-iodo-4 phenoxybenzene was found by FTIR spectroscopy. The activation energy for this reaction was determined to be 182 kJ/mol, which is higher than the activation energy for trifluoromethanesulfonic acid (148 kJ/mol). Trifluoromethanesulfonic acid is a strong nucleophile, making it more reactive than 1-iodo-4 phenoxybenzene. This compound has two isomers, cis and trans, which are formed from the same reactants but with different configurations at the carbon atoms in the double bond
