Descripción:LC-2 is a peptide that inhibits the activation of the protein tyrosine kinase. It is a potent inhibitor of the receptor-tyrosine kinase, KDR. LC-2 blocks activation of KDR by inhibiting binding to its ligand, VEGF. The LC-2 peptide is also an activator for some receptors, including the beta-adrenergic receptor and the angiotensin II type 1 receptor.
