Descripción:Cyclohexylmethyl isothiocyanate (CHITC) is a synthetic analog of the natural product sulforaphane. CHITC activates opioid receptors, and has been shown to inhibit the detoxification enzymes responsible for the metabolism of endogenous opioids. It has also been shown to have analgesic properties in animal models of chronic pain, and is a potential treatment for gastritis.
