Descripción:8-Methyl-decahydroquinoline is a nitramine, which is a family of organic compounds that are related to the nitroaromatic compounds. 8-Methyl-decahydroquinoline has been shown to be formed by the dehydrogenation of quinoline. It has been found in the leaves and stems of the plant Nitraria erythrocarpa and in alkaloids from Nitraria plants. The spectra for this compound show bands at 1705, 1660, and 1635 cm−1. A mass spectrum for this compound shows peaks at m/z = 138, 130, 116, 114 and 110.
