Descripción

Manumycin A is a natural product that is isolated from Streptomyces parvulus. It is an inhibitor of farnesyltransferase and has been shown to have anticancer activity in human cancer cells. Manumycin A has also been shown to inhibit protein kinases, which are enzymes that regulate the function of other proteins. This inhibition leads to cell death by apoptosis.
