Descripción:4-Bromo-3-fluoro-2-nitroanisole is a synthetic amide that has been studied for its potential use as a biomarker for inflammatory diseases. It is also being investigated as a therapeutic agent for autoimmune and infectious diseases, such as alopecia areata and metastatic colorectal cancer. 4-Bromo-3-fluoro-2-nitroanisole binds to the receptor PDL1, which is found on immune cells such as T cells and B cells. This binding inhibits the production of immune cells by blocking the growth factor activity of PDL1. The compound has also shown some antiinflammatory properties in mice with skin inflammation.
