Fubimina is a synthetic cannabinoid with serotonergic and dopaminergic properties. This drug has been shown to have a high affinity for the 5-HT2A receptors, which may be related to its hallucinogenic effects. Fubimina is structurally similar to other synthetic cannabinoids such as JWH-018 and CP-47,497. Fubimina has been shown to increase locomotor activity in animals and inhibits the metabolism of dopamine in human liver cells. Acute toxicities seen in mice include convulsions, tremors, hyperactivity, and death. Urine samples from people who had taken this drug were found to contain fubimina metabolites.
