4-(3-Fluoro-benzyloxy)-phenylamine is a synthetic molecule that inhibits the proliferation of Leishmania and Toxoplasma protozoan parasites. This molecule blocks the growth factor receptor on cells, preventing the proliferation of epidermal cells. 4-(3-Fluoro-benzyloxy)-phenylamine has been shown to be effective in vivo studies against hepg2 cell lines and in vitro against Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF), which is responsible for the proliferation of cells. It also inhibits tyrosine kinase activity, which prevents the activation of receptors on cells.
