Información del producto
PSNCBAM1 is a peptide that has been shown to reduce the level of cholesterol in the blood, and may be useful as a treatment for metabolic disorders. PSNCBAM1 binds to the CB2 receptor allosterically, which means that it modifies the conformation of CB2 receptors. This binding prevents activation of G-proteins, which are required for signal transduction. PSNCBAM1 also blocks the activity of rimonabant, a drug used to treat obesity by blocking CB1 receptors, without affecting other functions of CB2 receptors. In vitro assays have shown that PSNCBAM1 has anti-inflammatory properties and does not affect inflammatory cells such as macrophages or neutrophils.
