Descripción:MDA-19 is a monoclonal antibody that inhibits the Cb2 receptor, which is involved in the apoptosis pathway. This drug has been shown to reduce insulin sensitivity and increase insulin resistance in transgenic animals. MDA-19 also inhibits cancer cell proliferation and induces cell death in animal models of cancer. The antibody has been shown to be effective against herpes simplex virus and autoimmune diseases, such as type 1 diabetes and multiple sclerosis. MDA-19 binds to the Cb2 receptor on the surface of T cells, leading to the inhibition of cytokine production, which results in an inhibition of T cell proliferation.
