Descripción:
Pentadecanoic-15,15,15-d3 acid (PDCA) is a long-chain fatty acid with 15 carbon atoms. It acts as an inhibitor of the enzyme phospholipase A2, which hydrolyzes the membrane lipid phosphatidylcholine to release arachidonic acid and other lysophospholipids that are important for inflammation. PDCA has been shown to inhibit the production of tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFα) in mice and reduce inflammation in human cells.
