• Descripción: Interleukin-2 (IL-2) is a cytokine that has been shown to be effective in the treatment of autoimmune diseases, such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. IL-2 may also play a role in cancer prevention and treatment. IL-2 is a protein sequence of 191 amino acids that stimulates T cells to produce other cytokines, such as Interferon gamma. IL-2 is available in freeze-dried form or desiccated form, depending on how it will be used. To reconstitute the desiccated form, mix 1 mL of sterile water with one vial of IL-2 that needs to be reconstituted. The reconstituted IL-2 should be stored at room temperature for up to 24 hours before use.
