This compound has not been fully characterized, but it is suspected to be carcinogenic because of its carcinogenic activity and incompletely understood mechanism. It has been shown to have high activity against liver cancer in animal models. 2'-Chloro-4-dimethylaminoazobenzene is an unidentified compound that belongs to the group of azo compounds. It was found to have carcinogenic properties in animal studies and may be carcinogenic for humans as well.
