Información del producto
- 2-Methyl-8-chloroquinoline
8-Chloro-2-methylquinoline is an alkylating agent which binds to nucleophiles, such as amines and thiols, by chelate ring formation. It has been shown to be effective against Pseudomonas strains, as well as recombinant cells. 8-Chloro-2-methylquinoline has also been shown to have a strong inhibitory effect on water vapor and carbon tetrachloride. This compound has been observed in the gas phase using nmr spectroscopy and can be used for the detection of quinoline derivatives in the environment.
