Descripción:
4-tert-Butylphenyl Acetate is a telechelic diacetate with a reactive functional group at the end. It is a polymer that can be used as an ingredient in paints and coatings. This compound has been extensively studied for its reaction kinetics, polymerization kinetics, and functional groups. 4-tert-Butylphenyl Acetate has been shown to react with diphenyl ether to produce polydiphenylethers. The reaction rate of this compound with acidolysis is constant and the activation energy is relatively low.
