The molecular weight of 1,18-octadecanediol is 288.35 g/mol. 1,18-Octadecanediol has been shown to be involved in the biosynthesis of flavonoids and other polyphenols. The molecule can be found in mellifera such as honey bees and bumblebees and it is used in microscopy studies to identify bee skeletons.
