4-Bromo-2-chloroacetanilide is the brominated derivative of acetanilide. It is a chemical reagent that can be used in research involving amides, catalysts, oxidizing agents, and synopses. 4-Bromo-2-chloroacetanilide can produce anhydrides with various peroxyacids such as potassium perborate and hydrogen peroxide. This product has also been shown to be an effective catalyst for the synthesis of phenols from olefins.
