Descripción:
2-Phenylethyl acrylate is a reactive chemical that is used in wastewater treatment. It has been used as an additive to aqueous solutions to increase the stability of the solution. 2-Phenylethyl acrylate has also been shown to be effective against brain cells and other cell types, such as those found in the eye. It can be cross-linked with various compounds, including phenolic acids and fatty acids, to form polymer particles with antimicrobial properties. These particles are about 1 micrometer in diameter and have been shown to have potential for use in medicine, cosmetics, or personal care products.
