Información del producto
2-Amino-3-(4-hydroxy-3-nitrophenyl)propanoic acid (APNPA) is a nitrated amino acid that can be used as an optical sensor for diagnosis of bowel disease. APNPA has been shown to be oxidized in vivo to form a fluorescent product, which can be detected using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. This product is formed by oxidative injury of the amino acid tyrosine, and this mechanism is associated with bowel disease. The concentration of nitrotyrosine in biological samples has been proven to correlate with the extent of atherosclerotic lesion.
