Descripción:Ethyl 4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxybenzoate is a benzoic acid ester that is used as an intermediate in the synthesis of detergent compositions. It can be used to inhibit the growth of microorganisms and has been found to have no adverse effects on human serum. Ethyl 4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxybenzoate has been shown to have antimicrobial activity against group P2 bacteria and has also been used in the treatment of protocatechuic acid and ethyl decanoate.
