Información del producto
- Dichloro(N,N,N,N-tetramethylethylenediamine)zinc
- N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethane-1,2-diamine - dichlorozinc (1:1)
Dichloro(N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethylenediamine)zinc(II) is a ligand that binds to the active site of naphthalene-degrading enzymes. It has high specificity for this reaction system and does not react with other compounds, such as chlorides, fluorescence or refluxing. The yields are low and the product is unstable; it must be used quickly. Dichloro(N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethylenediamine)zinc(II) reacts with magnesium to form a complex that can be used as a probe in electron spin resonance (ESR). This compound is also useful in transfer hydrogenation reactions.
