4-Chloro-N-ethyl-2-nitroaniline is a long chain, resonance, proton, coefficient, amide, methylene, amine, coupling, and ultraviolet absorption compound. It has been shown to have an incompletely determined constant with experimentally determined constants for cinnamoyl. The nitrogen atom in 4-chloro-N-ethyl-2-nitroaniline is the lone electron donor to this molecule. This electron donation leads to the formation of a nitrene group that can undergo reactions that include hydrogen abstraction and transfer.
