cis-3-Hexen-1-yl 2-Methylbutyrate is a natural product that is found in cruciferous vegetables. It has been shown to have anti-cancer, cardiovascular and anti-inflammatory properties. The mechanism of action of cis-3-hexenyl 2-methylbutyrate is not well understood but it may inhibit the production of reactive oxygen species and stimulate the expression of antioxidant enzymes.
