Descripción:Tromantadine is an active analogue of quinolones and is used in the treatment of infections caused by bacteria. Tromantadine inhibits bacterial growth by binding to DNA-dependent RNA polymerase and preventing transcription and replication. It also has anti-inflammatory properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis. Tromantadine is chemically stable at high temperatures, making it suitable for use in hot climates.
