Descripción:NGD 94-1 is a dopamine receptor agonist that is used in the treatment of schizophrenia. It is a potent and selective dopamine D2 receptor agonist that binds to the dopamine D2 receptor with high affinity (Ki = 0.6 nM). NGD 94-1 has been shown to have functional activity as a dopamine D2 receptor agonist in animal models, which may be due to its ability to increase levels of intracellular cyclic AMP and inhibit adenylyl cyclase activity in neuronal tissues.
