Descripción:KIN1148 is a neutralizing molecule that has been shown to exhibit broad-spectrum antiviral activity against HIV and influenza virus. KIN1148 binds to the hiv envelope protein gp120, thereby inhibiting its interaction with CD4 cells. It also activates the immune system by binding to the HLA-A2 antigen on human dendritic cells. In vitro studies have shown that KIN1148 inhibits the replication of influenza virus in cell culture. This drug also has potential for use as a therapeutic agent in pandemic influenza and avian influenza.
