Descripción

MonoMe Auristatin D is a water-soluble, non-toxic, and highly potent analogue of dolastatin 10. It has been shown to be effective against Gram-positive bacteria including methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). The antimicrobial activity of MonoMe Auristatin D is mediated by its binding to the ribosomes in the bacterial cell membrane. This binding prevents the production of proteins vital for cell division. MonoMe Auristatin D has also been shown to inhibit DNA synthesis in vitro and in vivo.
The FTIR spectroscopy data show that MonoMe auristatin D can form hydrogen bonds with the amide group of amino acids such as proline and lysine.
