dPEG®48-Biotin Acid is a binder that has affinity for angiotensin. It can be used to bind peptides, proteins, and other biomolecules. It has been used in the synthesis of peptidomimetics, which are molecules with a chemical structure that mimics that of a natural protein. dPEG®48-Biotin Acid also binds to human serum albumin and can be used as an immunogen or antibody in enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays. Additionally, it has been used as a reagent in the synthesis of angiotensin II receptor antagonists.
