Photoregulin-1 has been shown to inhibit protein interactions and may be a research tool for studying cell biology and pharmacology. Photoregulin-1 stimulates the production of anti-inflammatory proteins and inhibits the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines in mouse models of inflammatory diseases.
