Descripción

Methiozolin is a natural antibiotic that is effective against microorganisms, such as bacteria and fungi. It inhibits the synthesis of DNA and RNA in the cell, which prevents protein synthesis. Methiozolin also has antiviral and antiparasitic properties, including an effect on viruses, such as HIV. Methiozolin has been used in chemotherapy to treat bacterial infections caused by Streptococcus pyogenes and Erysipelothrix insidiosa. Methiozolin is a white crystalline powder with a molecular weight of 247.5 g/mol.
