Descripción:Pimozide-d4 is an inhibitor of protein kinases that has been shown to induce apoptosis in tumor cells. It is a deuterated analog of Pimozide, which is commonly used as an antipsychotic drug. Pimozide-d4 inhibits the activity of cyclin-dependent kinases and other protein kinases that are involved in the regulation of cell division and growth. This compound has been shown to be effective against various types of cancer cells, including human and Chinese hamster ovary cells. In addition, Pimozide-d4 has anticancer activity in vivo, as it inhibits tumor growth in animal models. This compound can be detected in urine samples and may be useful as a biomarker for the evaluation of kinase inhibitor therapy in cancer patients.
