Información del producto
- Benzene, (Ethylsulfinyl)-
- Ethyl Phenyl Sulfoxide
- Ethylphenylsulfoxide
Ethanesulfinylbenzene is a hydrogen-bond donor that belongs to the group of carboxylates. It has pesticidal properties and is used as a molybdenum source. Ethanesulfinylbenzene is also a cationic polymerization activator that can be activated by dehydration, leading to intramolecular hydrogen bonding. The structure of ethanesulfinylbenzene consists of a benzene ring with two sulfinyl groups, which are linked to each other through an oxygen atom. The thermal expansion coefficient for this compound is greater than that for hexane (0.1% at 100°C).
