Descripción:Pentaerythritol Tetrabenzoate is a polycarboxylic acid that is activated with a polyvinyl compound. It can be used as a solid catalyst in the production of polyvinyl chloride. Pentaerythritol Tetrabenzoate has also been shown to be biocompatible and to have high viscosity, which makes it suitable for use as an emulsifier in food products. It can also be used as an emulsifying agent in cosmetic products and as a thickening agent in pharmaceuticals. The ester linkages make it soluble in organic solvents such as chloroform, ether, or ethyl acetate. Pentaerythritol Tetrabenzoate is mainly used for its capacity to lower the surface tension of water and other liquids. It is also used to reduce viscosity of petroleum-based liquids and is used as a raw material for the production of detergents
