Información del producto
- 4-Phosphonobutanoic Acid
- 4-Phosphonatobutanoate
4-Phosphonobutyric Acid is a non-nucleophilic, uncharged organic acid that can act as an inhibitor of benzotriazole. It is also able to simulate proton transfer reactions in benzotriazole. The reactivity descriptors for 4-phosphonobutyric acid are electron donating, nucleophilic, and electrophilic. Experimental data on the reactivity of 4-phosphonobutyric acid with aluminum is available. Descriptors based on energies and electronegativity reveal that 4-phosphonobutyric acid has low reactivity with proton donors and high reactivity with proton acceptors. This substance is adsorbed onto the surface of iron oxide particles in a corrosion experiment.
