Descripción:Bromo(bromomethoxy)methane is a heterocyclic compound that is also known as bromobemidone. It is used in the treatment of cancer and bowel disease. Bromobemidone has been shown to inhibit tumor growth by inducing apoptotic cell death, which may be due to its ability to activate c-b2 receptor, a protein found on the surface of T cells. Bromobemidone also has an inhibitory effect on inflammatory bowel disease and diabetic neuropathy. This drug can act as an adenosine receptor antagonist, which means that it blocks signals from the receptors for adenosine, a chemical involved in regulating blood flow and other processes in the body.
