Información del producto
Dimethyl(4-vinylphenyl)silane is an organic compound that can be used in the synthesis of a variety of materials. The compound is synthesized by the hydrosilylation of styrene, which results in a polymer with alternating vinyl and phenyl groups. Dimethyl(4-vinylphenyl)silane can be used as a reactive copolymerization partner for cationic polymerization with siloxanes or other monomers. The spacing between the vinyl and phenyl groups can be controlled to produce various architectures. Dimethyl(4-vinylphenyl)silane can also be used as an analytical tool for determining the spacing between molecules in a matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI) experiment.
