Descripción:Donepezil is a cholinesterase inhibitor that is used in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. Donepezil hydrochloride is the hydrochloric acid salt of donepezil and is an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor. It prevents the breakdown of acetylcholine, which leads to increased activity at muscarinic receptors and nicotinic receptors.
