• Descripción: LTurm34 is a modified version of the LTR-containing human virus (LTUR) that is a cancer therapy. LTurm34 has been modified to include an anti-platelet molecule and a cancer therapeutic, which will be introduced into the tumor. The viral vector will then infect cells with the modified LTUR genome, which will cause cancer cell death due to inhibition of DNA synthesis. The effective dose of LTurm34 can be determined by introducing it into mammalian cells and measuring the amount of transfection. This drug also has localization effects, in that it targets only cells with homologous DNA sequences.
