Información del producto
- 1H-Indazole-3-carbonitrile, 4-methyl-
4-Methyl-1H-indazole-3-carbonitrile (4MI) is a natural compound that has been shown to have physiological effects in animal models. 4MI induces autophagy, which is the process by which cells degrade and recycle their own components. This property of 4MI may be related to its ability to reduce oxidative stress and neuronal death. 4MI also inhibits the mitochondrial respiratory chain, leading to a decline in cellular ATP levels and mitochondrial membrane potential. Mitochondrial function is impaired as a result. The antioxidant properties of 4MI may be due to its ability to scavenge reactive oxygen species or donate electrons to quench ROS radicals, thereby preventing oxidative damage.
