This product is a white crystalline solid that dissolves in water and ethanol. 6-Chloro-3-indoxyl-beta-D-glucuronic acid methyl ester has been shown to be stable for at least two years when stored at -20°C. It can be used for diagnostic purposes, such as the detection of bacterial infections, or as an enzyme substrate in biochemistry studies.
