Tert-butyl 3-acetylphenylcarbamate is used as a monomer in the production of polymers by emulsion polymerization. It is an organic solvent that can be used to produce particle coatings on electronics and other substrates. Tert-butyl 3-acetylphenylcarbamate also has a number of industrial applications, including being used as an intermediate for the production of ethylene, as well as a precursor for the synthesis of other useful compounds. It is also used in the production of chlorinated solvents, which are primarily used in the manufacture of plastics.
