Etobenzanid has been found to be effective against various types of tumors, including those of the breast, lung, and colon. In addition, it has been shown to have anticancer activity against Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells. Etobenzanid is an analog of dabigatran, a protein inhibitor used as an anticoagulant medication. It is excreted primarily in urine and may have potential as a therapeutic agent for the treatment of cancer.
