Información del producto
- Piperidine, 2-(Methoxymethyl)-
2-Methoxymethyl-piperidine is a synthetic compound that is a selective agonist at the muscarinic M1 receptor. It has been shown to have high affinity for this receptor and has been used in the study of the pharmacology of this receptor. 2-Methoxymethyl-piperidine is also an allosteric modulator of the M1 receptors, which may be due to its ability to inhibit acetylcholinesterase.
2-Methoxymethyl-piperidine can be used as a substrate for reductive amination reactions, such as with amines or tetrahydropyran, and it is a five membered ring with stereoselectivity.
