• Descripción: XRP44X is a potent antitumor agent that inhibits the growth of cancer cells. It has been shown to induce cell lysis and cell cycle arrest in vitro, as well as to inhibit the growth of prostate cancer cells in vivo. XRP44X has also been shown to be effective against mesenchymal markers, specifically those associated with prostate cancer. This drug also induces apoptosis and inhibits the production of epidermal growth factor (EGF) and its receptor EGF-R. The mechanism of action is not fully understood, but it appears to involve an amino acid transferase activity.
