Descripción:KH-CB19 is an inhibitor of the influenza virus polymerase that is active against both wild-type and resistant influenza viruses. KH-CB19 binds to the kinase domain in the viral polymerase, inhibiting viral RNA synthesis. KH-CB19 also exhibits potent anti-cancer activity in vitro, but has not been tested in vivo. It is a derivative of cimetidine and can be used as a chemotherapeutic agent for renal transplantation.
