Descripción:4-(Pent-4-yn-1-yl)cyclohexane-1,3-dione is a molecule that has been shown to inhibit the growth of pancreatic cancer cells in vitro. It also inhibits the proliferation of miapaca2 cells. The mechanism of 4-(Pent-4-yn-1-yl)cyclohexane-1,3-dione's anti-cancer activity is not yet known. This molecule may be a factor receptor antagonist or an inhibitor of epidermal growth factor (EGF). It binds to the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), preventing ligands from binding and inhibiting cellular proliferation.
